Alfred Street Fire Damage Insurance – Blackpool
Timescale: 6 weeks
We were instructed by the client to make the building watertight and safe. The building was propped over three floors to allow for the fire damaged staircases/floors to be removed with a temporary internal scaffold installed to create safe access in order to carry out further surveys and stabilisation works.


Failed Culvert Insurance Work – Blackpool
Value approx: £50k
Timescale: 10 weeks
This project involved specialised civil engineering works to demolish a failed retaining wall in order to establish the exact structural problem. Once the issue was identified works included the bridge piling and concrete encasement of the damaged culvert and complete rebuild of the wall with structural concrete reinforcement.
Failed Bridge Insurance Work- Hebden Bridge
Timescale: 3 months
This project involved the rebuild of a failed stone bridge in the National Park area of Todmorden. Works were completed here with an extensive amount of input, guidance and advice from Huck Construction to allow for the best and safest long term remedial action.
Water Damage House – Dalton
Value approx: £25k
Timescale: 5 weeks
Following on from extensive water damage, works included a complete strip out of the affected and damaged areas and state of the art refit. Huck Construction worked hard with the client to meet tight deadlines and achieve the clients bespoke and high expectations.
