Huck Construction have a big presence in the North West Heritage and Ecclesiastical Buildings community. We gained this reputation from working closely within these communities, restoring, building and maintaining as required, whilst working with the least possible effect on the daily workings of the communities and buildings. Stripped existing covering, removal of all rainwater goods, supply and install new diminishing new Burlington slate roof covering, along with installation of decorative barge boards, fascias boards, re-fixing rainwater goods carried out over 5 different roofs, with difficult access, carried out several timber repairs.
Maintenance upgrade works on the grade 2 listed building, works included new timber windows and pediments, new doors, roof coverings, decorations to the external, glazing to existing windows, masonry repairs.

This project involved the carrying out of extensive restoration and renovations works to a substantial part of this grade 1 listed building. Works included transforming an unused wing into a new science block, the fit out of a new modern library, structural alterations and re-roofing. In addition, the works also included the conversion of a second unused block of an up to date sixth form lounge, common room, classrooms and associated amenities.
This project involved the renovation and upgrade to an existing church hall in order to comply with fire regulation. Renovation works included the double glazing and door installation, internal decorating works and additional joinery works. Once works were completed Wesley Hall was awarded their Fire Safety Certificate.
Works included a large extension to the side of the existing church hall to create a large function room and social area. This benefitted the local community in numerous ways and affected them minimally whilst works were ongoing. The extension was created to blend in perfectly with the existing building and the interior suitable for a variety of occasions as per the needs.

Works included an extension to a church hall located in a conservation area. Huck Construction had previously worked on the church hall and here asked to return when the further works were needed. The extension needed to blend with the existing building and this was achieved. This project was completed within the time limit and within budget.
Arkwright is a grade 2 listed building situated within the busy city of Preston. We have completed a variety of projects at Arkwright House and always ensure that we adhere to the strict standards and working practices issued by English Heritage.

Due to movement, the stone, two storey, historic properties had to be demolished with the use of structural scaffolding. Works included the sympathetic rebuild of the rears of the properties with stonework dressing and new internal fits.
Carried out listed window replacement and flat roof to bay windows at grade 2 listed building in Bentham, Windows were manufactured to high quality bespoke details to look like original work.
